Prof. Charles L. Wilson made an academic lecture

On Sep. 26th, Prof. Charles L. Wilson from Wilson Associates International LLC, America, delivered an academic lecture named The Developing of Postharvest Bio-control: Past, Present and Future.
Prof. Wilson has conducted pioneering research in the biological sciences for over 45 years. He retired from the USDA Agricultural Research Service after 36 years service in 2006 and established Wilson Associates, a worldwide consulting company to advise companies and research institutions on the development of biologically‐based technologies for the protection and preservation of food. Dr. Wilson is proficient in the development, patenting, and licensing of technologies to preserve food. He recently edited two books titled, Microbial Food Contamination and Frontiers of ‘Intelligent’ and ‘Active’ Packaging for Fruits and Vegetables for CRC Press.
Prof. Wilson has authored over 200 scientific publication, 18 patents, and 6 books. He has been invited to organize and chair ten international symposia, to present papers at ten additional symposia, to deliver over 40 lectures in 22 states and eleven countries, and to lead seminars and discussions with students at ten major universities. In his career, he has served as a professor at the University of Arkansas and an adjunct professor at Ohio State University and West Virginia University. He has organized three international BARD‐sponsored workshops on food preservation by biological means.
