The Fourth Sino-Foreign Postgraduate Forum of Jiangsu University for Engineering Forum I was held in the first report hall of the conference center on the afternoon of November 17th. Organized by School of Food and Biological Engineering and co-organized by School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, School of Material Science and Engineering, and School of The Environment and Engineering, the session invited three judges–Associate Professor Wang Ning, Professor Chen Qiuyun, and Associate Professor Wang Huijuan, responsible for the comments and guiding the participants presentation to a new level. Meanwhile, 99 wall posters have been collected, more than two hundred sino-foreign postgraduates attended the forum.

At the start of the forum, Professor Li Songjun made the first terrific presentation, inspiring the audience interest. Eight candidates, who are from four different schools mentioned above, made oral reports with the PowerPoint, followed by three judges posing question concerning the presentation, which made audiences and reporters benefit a lot. Candidates showed their presentation with fluent English. Judges carefully listened to the report, and proposed many profound questions to give an insight into it. During the tea break of 20 minutes, two hundred postgraduates reviewed 99 wall posters, and voted for the works they appeal to. At last, William won the third Place after the intense competition; Mahunu and Urmila won excellent poster award.

The academic forum effectively promote the interdisciplinary academic exchange, broaden the academic field of vision of the postgraduates, facilitate postgraduate academic and cultural exchanges, construct the internationalization and the harmonious campus, which enhance the graduate student international communication ability, and provide significantly help in developing and researching work for graduate school.
