On May 7, FBE held the first academic symposium for young teachers in Room 302 of the Shisheng Building. Vice Dean, Professor Zhang Hongyin, and more than 20 young teachers attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Associate Professor Cheng Yu.

At the meeting, six young teachers, including Zan Xinyi, Zhang Lihui, Shi Tong, Zhao Mei, Zhai Xiaodong, and Chen Chao, gave lectures entitled "Fungal Biotechnology", "Application of Radio Frequency Technology in Food/Agricultural Products", "Arginine's Effect on Myospheres", Influence mechanism and application of protein thermal aggregation behavior" "Metabolic engineering of Escherichia coli for high production of adipic acid", "Development of freshness indicator labels for chilled meat", "Exploration of factors affecting the bioavailability of avenanthramides and nano-co-encapsulation". In their presentations, they shared recent scientific research results, research background, research status, research content, technical route, application prospects, etc.
